After revisiting this project, I realized that I misunderstood the parameters that had been set and decided to completely overhaul my design. I placed more emphasis on ambiguity and the flow of each letterform and associated number into the next tile while constraining them to their respective tile. My updated design also focuses more on value transition than previously, adding more intrigue to this work.
Process Work
In this project, I focused largely on aspects such as flow and continuity while using color transitions to help achieve these goals. I focused mostly on flow within my design, with my letterforms flowing from one section to another to create an intriguing composition with moments of ambiguity in various spaces. My sketches allowed me to gain a better understanding of how to work with value transition and allowed me to reach my outcome for this project, although they did break the parameters for this project.
